Mrs. Doris Woodward Caston, 93, of Jenkinsburg, Georgia passed away on August 7, 2010 at the Westbury Medical Care Home where she had lived the past several years.
She was born in Jenkinsburg, GA November 27, 1916 daughter of the late David Obe and Emily Irene Moore Woodward. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, G.W. "Toots" Caston and two daughters, Mary Bailey Caston and Charlotte Caston Barber; four siblings, Louise Farrar, Mary Lois Banks, Anna Frank Childs and Bailey Woodward. She was a lifelong member of the Jenkinsburg United Methodist Church and a founding member of the Jenkinsburg Garden Club.
For years she helped her husband with their business, Fresh Air Barbecue and later was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Brewer; grandchildren George and Carol Barber; David and Regena Barber; Michael and Lara Brewer, all of Jackson; Chris and Kimberley Brewer of Athens; great-grandchildren Brittany and Ashley Barber; Charles Barber; Ethan Brewer; Wilson and Charlie Brewer; many nieces and nephews.
