"Martha Yates Bailey North's father, was Henry Jackson Bailey, born October 21, 1793, died March, 1848, and is buried at Cokes Chapel. * * * Henry J. Bailey came from Virginia to Lexington, Ga., he married Sallie Jackson, they had eight sons and two daughters." The date of birth given here, however, is based on Bailey's headstone at Coke, which reports he was 51 years, 5 months and 10 days of age on the date of his death, 1 Mar 1848.
