Fontenoy Obelisk

The Battle of Fontenoy-en-Puisaye was the climatic struggle over the imperial dispositions of Louis the Pious among his sons, Lothair I of Italy, Charles the Bald and Louis the German. Lothair and his nephew Pepin were defeated by Charles and Louis.
