Alexander Mims Properties

This is property identified in an interrogatory as belonging to Alexander Mims, last surviving son of Sam Mims. Abraham Woodcock v. Reuben McDonald was an action brought on behalf of Woodcock's wife, Adeline Smoot, daughter of Harriet Mims Smoot. The land to the east (TS2N, R3E, sec. 6, 7, and 8) is referred to as the Weekley tract. The land below the cutoff (TS3N, R2E, sec. 20, 21, 28, 29) is referred to as the Josiah Fletcher (h/o Elizabeth Bailey) and Sam Mims tracts, containing about 800 acres.
