    • WILL OF THOMAS McCLENDON

      All my just debts to be paid. My exrs shall sell as soon as possible the propety and effects which may be inconvenient to remove. As speedily as possible my exrs. are to buy a tract of land of sutitable size either in Texas or Arkansas in some healthy location where my children can be educated. l desire my family and effects to be removed by my exrs. as soon as possible and I futher desire that my whole estate be kept together for the raising and education of my younger children until the end of 1862. At the end of sd year 1862 a suflicienty amounty of my property is to be sold to give and equal share to my children who may then be of age, reserving enough to raise and educated the younger childred and give to them a distributive share equal to the older children. All children are to share equally in my estate. Those who have already been given property shall be held accountable in the distrutive share equal to the estate. thase who have already been given proberty shall be already received until all have been made equal. the share of my son Aaron C McClendon is not to be disposed of by him but is at his death, to go to his children. the distributive shares of my daughters are for their sale and separate use and at their deaths to go to their children. My exrs, hereinafter named, shall act as testimentary guardan of my minor children untill they shall become of suflicent age to choose their guardians. After will is probated and the retum of the proper inventory, my exrs, shall not be required to make any further retum to the probate court her until after the removal of my property, effects and family as above mentioned after which removal they are to have this will admitted to probate in such a place as they may remove to wher future retulmed and settlements shall be made to the porper court.
