      Mrs. Eunice P. Tillis of route 3, box 177, died Tuesday in Alachua General Hospital at the age of 88. A native of Century, Mrs. Tillis had lived here for 48 years and was a charter member of the Eastside Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Hebron H. Self, Gainesville, Mrs. Leland Crouch, Buna Park, Calif; three sons, George W. Tillis, McDonough,Ga; John E. Tillis, Houston, Tex; Samuel E. Tillis, Sewell, NJ; four sisters, Mrs. Bill Jernigan, Fort Pierce, Mrs. Roy Tillis, Mrs. Clark Watson, and Mrs. Sally Vipperman, all of Gainesville; one brother, Jack Brown, Campville; 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
