Meacham - Beauchamp
On Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock at the home of the bride in Williamson, this
county, there was a beautiful though quite wedding.
The contracting parties were Rev. Walter Hudson Meacham and Miss Vivian Eula
Beauchamp.
The ceremony was impressively performed by Rev. C.V. Weathers, the pastor of
the Methodist church here.
Only the immediate friends and relatives of Williamson and community we
present owing to the sickness of the bride’s mother.
Rev. Mr. Meacham is the assistant pastor of Zebulon charge ans since his coming
to our community he has made many friends. He is a young man of ability and his
prospects in his calling are bright.
Mrs. Meacham is the second daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J.C. Beauchamp. She is a
graduate of LaGrange Female College. For several years she has been engaged in
teaching. She is a young woman of much talent.
We congratulate these young people in their happy marriage.

Eula Beauchamp Meacham, b. 15 Nov 1876, d. 26 July 1966
Eula’s parents were John Calhoun and Ella F. (last name unknown) Beauchamp. The
article mentions her mother’s illness, and Ella does die in September of 1903,
shortly after the wedding. In 1905, John Calhoun Beauchamp marries Virginia
Gregg. Virginia is the daughter of John D. Gregg and Candis S.J. Coggin
