    • Lucy Jones was identified in 1857 as an heir of Samuel Mims through her mother, Prudence Mims Jones, by estate administrator Abraham Woodcock. Jones and her husband Edward (identified in census records as Edmund) were located in Texas at the time. The 1860 U.S. census placed them in Brazoria County, Texas. Edmund's mother was Elizabeth Kearney Tunstall, sister of George Brook Tunstall (q.v.). [1, 2]
