    • Feeling sensible of my approaching [end] and wishing to dispose of my earthly affairs in such a mannter as to avoid confusion and being of sound mind and disposing memory I hereby revoking all former wills or testaments [-] and declare this to be my last will and testament.

      First- For and in consideration of the sum of six hundred dollars I herebly give grant and convey [-] to my son JAMES F DUPREE the right and title to a certain negroe boy named Park and of yellow compexion and about sixteen years of age. The sum of said six hundred dollars to be held by my son JAMES F DUPREE for the benefit of my three grand children to wit CHARLES WILSON WILLIAM HAYDEN and ELIJAH FLEMING DUPREE sons of JOHN DUPREE deceased and that my son JAMES F DUPREE is to pay two hundred dollars of the above six hundred to each of the above mentioned grand children as they severally become of age with lawful interest upon the same commencing within the year from the date of this [-], the remainder of my estate I wish equally distributed between my four children to wit- CHARLES L DUPREE WILLIAM H DUPREE SENIOR ELIZABETH S SPRATLIN JAMES F DUPREE and my grand children CHARLES WILSON WILLIAM HAYDEN and ELIZABETH FLEMING DUPREE children of JOHN DUPREE deceased. My three grand children to have an equal portion of my estate with my four children, reserving the negore boy Park as above disposed of to my son JAMES F DUPREE and for the property [-] of this my last will and testament, I hereby appoint my son JAMES FLEMING DUPREE my sole executor. in testimony whereof I hereby set my hand and seal this 11th of March 1850 in the presence of HENRY [-], JAMES S [-], J.
